This is my page for Digital Scrapbooking Day (today-11/3/12) Challenge #4. We had to use a free template/sketch and red/white (Canada's flag colours).
I went pretty literal with the colours. And the theme. Every year my hometown has a parade on Canada Day. Almost every year our extended family has entered a float. We've won a 'few' times!
This was the first time with everybody on the float ... adults and kids! And is the start of what will hopefully be a series of pages about the many years of floats. Obviously it needs a 2nd page for this journalling.
Everything is from SU!
Canada map outline is from the Providence of Provinces kit.
Maple leaf is from the Places I've Been swatchbook template.

Gail I totally love this page-may have something to do with being Canadian-EH?! And how fun to have a float in the parade I am sure you have a wonderful time every year and what a great memory to scrap
