 | | I'm finally doing this week's CAS Challenge - a technique challenge to create a collage. I kept putting it off because I've never been very good at mixing stamps to make a collage image. So I decided to stick to different snowflake stamps and try to come up with something without resorting to one of the wonderful collage stamps that put the images together for you!
I started by stamping a snowflake background in ColorBox Ice - a very pale colour. Then I added a snowflake flourish in Brilliance Pearlescent Ice Blue - a bit darker and a bit more sparkly. The top layer is individual snowflakes laid over the others and embossed in sparkly silver ep. And finally a sentiment and some tiny gemstones on the flourish.
I mounted it on sparkly silver dp and a paler silver cardbase. I couldn't really capture the sparkle with my camera.
Maybe I'll be adventurous and try other collage cards! |
