The current ODBD challenge is masculine cards, and I was running out of time to make something. So when I came across this Leather Wrist Wrap, it made me think I could make a sort of bikers leather card that DH could use. Lateral inspiration, but there! DH doesn't think it's a masculine card but I do, and I even used the CMA badge colours of red, yellow and blue on it!
A2 black base.
Faux leather - black card embossed with Mesh and embossed with clear EP, matted on red and yellow.
I stamped the verse, cut it with Labels 18 and added stitching lines in red, yellow and blue, and then did Cracked Glass. It's matted onto yellow and popped up on foam dots. I added a tiny little key charm, and silver brads on the leather layer.
I can't remember who advised me to try sponging the distress colour over the UTEE while bending the card, so that it actually gets into the cracks - but thank you to whoever it was! I think the cracked glass should count as a distress technique for Friday's challenge, too.
