Last weekend, Nines (Janine) was named Feature Stamper by Julie. I have been wanting to case a card all week, but needed to finish my HYCCT cards first. Janine has so many wonderful cards!!! But during the HYCCT challenges, Janine made this beautiful and serene card: www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/2279063
I thought she used watercolors. I just think it is so pretty and it made me want to get my watercolors out. I thought this stamp by Stampendous would be similar. I used the same layout and instead of bakers twine, I used floss that I colored with my Copic markers. I don't know who makes the "carefree" stamp, but the life is inkadinkadoo.
Anyway, I am happy with the result, looks like a good place to visit...or live!
Janine it was a pleasure to go thru your beautiful gallery. Thank you for all the kind and encouraging words you have left for me!!!

Your watercoloring is gorgeous, Kathleen! This card brings to mind beach vacations, summer weather and relaxation...just what we need in the midst of Autumn!
This looks like a fabulous place to visit, Kathy. Beautiful card and appropriate sentiment. I used copic markers too, not watercolors on the card you chose from my gallery. I picked all my lightest shades. I love your coloring. Thanks so much for all of your kind words and I am so glad you enjoyed my gallery.

So pretty! That Carefree sentiment is just right on a beach like this. I love all the colors you used on this especially incorporating that lovely purple in the bg parts. And you're very creative using copics to color some floss to match. You did good kid!
