I'm still having so much fun making my own plaid paper, using Papertrey's set BG Basics:Super Stripes! Love the fact that I can have the perfect colors for any project I want! I stamped the plaid using kraft, espresso, riding hood red and the long ago retired handsome hunter, then distressed the edges. I just got the Impressions Obsession pine branch die and couldn't wait to use it. I diecut the branches out of hunter, placed them on the plaid and followed Kittie's tutorial on a double loop bow, using SU's quilted ribbon. The sentiment was stamped on kraft, framed with espresso and the whole piece was put on a kraft card base.

I love this! So simple, and so classic for Christmas. Your bow is to die for! Love the DP too. Great card!

WOW, Sue....what a FANTASTIC plaid you created with your stripe stamps from PTI! I bought this set and have done nothing with it...YOU are an inspiration. Love the colors you chose too. I like that you left the rest of the card rather simple so your plaid is center stage! A beautiful Christmas card filled with warmth and charm.

I can tell you're having fun with the plaid...and this one is awesome with all the different colors you've used! Love the double looped bow and the evergreen branches.
