Happy Friday! This week just flew by and the weekend I am sure will be going even faster. Today over on the Flourishes blog its Friday Favorites. Now if you have been checking out my blog the last few months you should already know what I was going to show you! HA! Yes it is the Letters in Blossom set. Seriously this set is fantastic and has so many different options for gifts. This gift happens to be for my sweet friend Pat's DIL who is having a girl here in a week. Precious little Audrey is coming into this world and mom and dad are very excited. Not to mention little brother Jon who can't wait to see sissy. You might remember the gift I made for Jon when he came into this world to bless us. I could not very well make something for him and not sweet little Audrey. On to my details...
I stamped out Audrey with Letters in Blossom onto classic white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink. The letters are colored using copic collections buttercup, lenton rose and green grass. Once colored I layered the name panel onto Color Made Easy Collection Candy Pink. Once the name panel was complete I added dimensionals to the back. I created the base and added ivory lace trim all around the edges before I added the backing. Punched holes in the top for the ribbon hanger and then added my name panel. Once that is centered, the silver flourished swirls and some of these frily pink blooms from Pat. There is a great tutorial on how to make these blooms HERE. Once that was all dried and set I added random rhinestones all around and fairy dust to the letters and flowers. Now sweet Audrey will have her own little door or wall hanger that was sent with prayers and love.

Aaaaaaaack.....Stacy! As you can imagine, I am so very touched at your kindness, and the tears are coming. Mercy girl, you wrapped up so much love in this I can hardly take it in! I love-love-love these beautifully bloomin' letters, and that they spell out my grand daughter's name just hugs my heart big time. The embellishments are soooo perfect for Jamie, she will adore this treasure. (So very "Audrey", ya know?) Thank you so much. You are an amazing and talented friend. Consider yourself well-hugged! Love you.....

Aww, Stacy this is so gorgeous. I just love the set you used for her name. Jon still uses his gift, he likes to pin his important stuff to it (for a 2 yr old that means pictures he colored and such). I can't wait to hang this over her bed. I'm sure it will give her such sweet dreams. Hugs!!
