Today, Trish told us this week's Queen is AurdeyAnn! AudreyAnn is so sweet! You can just tell she has a kind and giving heart! She also has a GORGEOUS gallery!!! So many pretties, but today I chose one of her masculine cards for inspiration: www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/photo/1799248
While AudreyAnn used a big ole' Harley, I used this adorable scooter. When I first saw this stamp, it reminded me of when I was stationed in Bermuda. (I know I must have done something right to get stationed there for three years!) Anyway, besides being a gorgeous island, they try to keep everything as pristine as possible for their main industry...tourism. That includes limiting the number of cars on the island. So you will see MANY use a scooter for transportation. I was lucky to have a little car (the sterring wheel is on the opposite side and they drive on the "wrong" side of the road too!) but my girlfriend Kristi would drive a scooter or take the bus.
I digress! Anyway, I used metal charms, and kept the same basic layout. I also tied my ribbon the same way. But do you see how the ribbon looks a little like a road? Hope so, that was the intent! LOL I also used a Sizzix embossing folder on the background and a little bit of stickles on the headlight.
Congrats AudreyAnn!!! Your gallery is a delight and you are too!!! Thanks for taking a peek!
