This is my card for the HYCCT1230 Cork, Canvas or Clay Challenge. Did I ever have a hard time thinking of something around the house that I could use for this challenge. After seeing an old canvas bag in my daughters room (don't tell her that I cut it up!!), I decided to see what I could come up with. I used the Baskets & Blooms die to cut the little flowers, then I sponged Melon Mambo ink and rubbed Pretty In Pink ink on the flower cut outs. Sewed a button on each with some Bakers Twine then stuck them to the card with a big glue dot. Chalked the raised area with Pretty In Pink Pastels (not sure if that shows up very well) after stamping the sentiment. This was my first time ever cutting canvas with a die and my first time ever using buttons on a card. Hope that you like it!
Thanks for a fun challenge! Can't believe that the last one is tomorrow!
