 | | For hycct.29, we're to create a treat container with pink, black, silver and white. I agonized over this one!!! What kind of container and treat would survive being shipped to Texas? and fit in my already stuffed padded envelope? So. I purchased a sturdy tin of curiously strong altoids (cinnamon, for the hottie who'll be getting it...) and tucked it into a gift bag that I got from the swap prize box.
For TLC, we're to weave ribbon. Again, a juicy puzzle to solve. In my sewing room, I found an old plastic mesh bag-- the kind that was used to package oranges. Can you see it behind the altoid bag? I popped a patch of it into the embroidery hoop and wove ribbon through the mesh. I sandwiched (LOTTA red line and xyron adhesive) the weaving between a black glittery lacey square and a silver, burlap embossed heart frame. Add a tiny sentiment. Voila, a tag for the treat bag.
After all that work, I hope it survives the trip to Texas. I'm surely NOT going to hand deliver it!!
