This challenge asks us to use canvas, cork or clay. At first, I was pretty stumped. Then, I decided to create a virtual canvas by stamping with a linen background on a vanilla panel. I distressed that panel, sponging the edges and stamping a few swirls around the edge. IRL it looks like a still live on a canvas. I colored in the pears and apples with shades of green and a blender pen. I stamped off once w pink to create a ribbon underneath the sentiment. The pink swirl of gems seemed just right as a contrast to the yellowish-green.

This is a fabulous card and so clever of you to use a linen background stamp to give the effect of an artist's canvas. Love the way you rolled up the corners and your image and coloring are fantastic. I like the bling and sentiment too. Overall a super design. You definitely met the challenge Kathy.
