What's a girl to do!! I see Blooms and others posting these lovely tags, and frankly - tags aren't my thing. But I am drawn to them and can't help but begin to think, what would I do if I tried to make a tag, hmmm....first I would want to make it look vintage. No stamps like that, so I get into my Grandmothers old postcards and make a copy of one on my Radiance CS....I reduce it down to 60% of its original size. (note that this is not any kind of copyright infringement as postcard images prior to 1923 are considered public domain, and this was received in 1908) I loved the look of this Santa and decided to cut him out in a circle, then I used several layers of UTEE to give him a glassy effect. Kept it simple and now I have to eat those words of mine that "I'm not a tag kinda gal" - guess I can do this. Thanks for the challenge ladies.

Aaaack! Lol, well Sistah, apparently you are a "tag" kinda girl, because this is incredible!!! I can see your Grammy smiling now to see how you have re-purposed this elegant and sweet vintage Santa. Way to go girlfriend! Lymi, hugs.....

WoW, Sherry! You sure can do this!! I love all the techie work you did to accomplish this and not have to use your vintage image up, tho' I'd never have known it. Cool to hear the public domain story on your vintage image. So, does everyone on your list get a tag this Christmas on their pressie?!!
