It seems you learn something new every day...Blooms told me about a challenge involving Christmas tags....I don't know if I have said this before, but I LOVE making tags, so I really wanted to play along in this challenge. Right after I watched my beloved DAWGS kick some Gator tail (insert BIG smile here), I started to work on my tag. I just got a couple of new Flourishes sets this past week so I used the set Sweets of the Season. It has MANY darling nostalgic Christmas images and sentiments. I chose the candy canes image and colored it with Copics. I also used a tag die from PTI and a tag die from Spellbinders and layered everything together. A bit of red gingham ribbon from my stash, a few gems from SU!, and a little red and white twine from MS Crafts finishes it off. I will be making more tags for this challenge....so much fun! Thanks, Stacy! And to Blooms for 'viting me to play!

Can't say I am a Georgia fan (especially since hubby got a speeding tickie going thru there last year on the way to the Gator-Dawg game!) But they did kick some tail today. LOVE LOVE LOVE your Christmas candy cane tag! Your colors are so vibrant and the repeated red and white of the canes, gorgeous bow and twine looks fabulous! Love your embossing and die cut too! So pretty!!!

Candy canes and red, white, and green. Can it get any more festive than this?!! I LOVE the traditional beauty. Your design is amazing; bringing in freshness and country elegance with the gingham, embossing and lovely flourish detail in the spellbinder. Such a beauty, Katie. Okay, I'm telling on myself here: I thought you possibly lived in Florida and your little dogs were actually out working over a pesky gator, which I thought was mighty impressive given the size of the dog in your avatar and knowing the size that gators can be. Brave little puppies!!! Then, I saw Kathleen's comment and did a DOH!!!;))))
