The very cool little bird pendant that Stef spied in the Etsy store she picked for the inspiration challenge this week looked like just the ticket for a card. It just didn't come together quite as planned. I used Lettuce and Aqua embossing powder and tried to stamp the image into the heated powder. It didn't show up so I tried to color it with a marker. I wish I'd used a smaller circle die and less green ep. Oh well! I'd invested way too much time by this point to ditch it, lol! I also spilled embossing powder EVERYWHERE, hee hee! What's stamping on a Friday night without a big mess? ;)

Learning is one of the great things about the creative process ... every new card leads us to a better next card ... although I do really love this, especially the pop of color from the ribbon ... and I also love that you tried something new ... wonderful inspired design.

Oh, I have had many of those days I love that little bird, and your colors and background are fantastic. I like it, and hang in there. It does get better
