I recently had the pleasure of meeting Cindy Lawrence (The Creative Closet by Cindy Lawrence...onehappystamper.typepad.com) when I took the Copic Certification classes. I also had the opportunity of taking one additional class that Cindy designed and taught called "Copic Fun With Textures." And fun it was!
Cindy had us creating all different textures using a variety of materials to give our colorings a different look. This past week, I finished coloring the images and turned them into cards. These are the results.
After coloring the blue coat, we spritzed a piece of twill fabric with Colorless Blender and pressed it on the coat. After coloring the green coat, we pressed the brush tip of the Colorless Blender marker into the green to create polka dots.
The sky was airbrushed...another thing Cindy taught me!!!!! The fur was done with a glue pen and glitter; the snow was made with Stickles.

These images are SO sweet .... remind me of images I used to see years ago on greeting cards. Great job on the texturing techniques.

This is just the sweetest card and I love the heart in the sentiment.
Like you, I have collected a lot of Santas but I don't think I have any of the June McKenna. I bet you have a wonderful collection.
