My friend needed a b-day card for her hubby. But he has been a bit down lately and she wanted a funny type one. I told her I would make her one for her, and he loves to b.b.q., so I thought we could try a smokin' chef de-b.b.q. for her.
todays CAS challenge was to use newspaper or dictionary paper. Being I was doing a cooking one I thought I would use a menu...so just ripped out a page form the phone book.
I just sponged the edges sto softne it up a bit. sponged the sky with paper towel and water colored the rest and had to make a shiny new b.b.q for him.
Hope she likes it, and it will cheer him up some

This is so clever. Your friend's husband is going to treasure this. Love your use of a menu from a phone book in bg. And your red and white checked paper reminds me of a deli tablecloth. Wonderful bd card.

This is so cute and so kind of you to make it for your friend's husband!! I love the menu in the bg - so creative. I think he is going to love his shiny grill and be touched that you made this special card for him.
