Hi Everyone - hope you enjoyed your weekend and had a great Sunday!!
This card is for this week's QFTD Challenge. Our new Queen as of last Thursday is Claudia (aka CJZim) - Congratulations Claudia, your gallery is AMAZING!! I had several cards I wanted to CASE but I just kept going back to this beauty: { ClaudiaÂ’s gorgeous Brayered Elements Card }
I loved that Claudia used a brayering technique to color her Flower Pot, but I just had my brayer out the other day and wanted to do something new. I decided to try the Acetate Background technique. To create the look of the flower pot I used several different markers on Acetate, then spritzed and pressed it onto my cardstock. I love this look!! DH was amazed!! Other changes were with size/type and color of flowers, white on white matting, different EF and sentiment.
I used a bone folder to get the curve on the pot, and three different embossing styluses to curve and bend the flowers and leaves.
Thanks Claudia for all your inspiration - and Congrats again!! A huge thans to Kittie as well, for sharing what you do - I was definitely inspired by you today as well .
Thanks everyone for looking!!
Hugs,
Audrey
