This is for Bev's HYCCT1221 Clearly Hopeful challenge. I stepped out of my wheelhouse and used Inkssentials Crackle Accents on both the flower and foliage. I stamped cardstock with the Rubbernecker French Script background using Antique Linen, sponged it lightly with more ink and then applied a layer of =crackle accents all over it. I did a seond piece stamping the script but didn't sponge it so it would be a little lighter to use for foliage and then applied the crackle accents. Boy oh boy did I have a hard time waiting for that stuff to dry. I hate to admit that I finally took out my heat gun and heated for a bit to dry faster. LOL! I die cut the poinsettia blossoms out of the darker script layer and the foliage out of the lighter. I stamped the French Script frame with antique linen and then cut out the center to create an open frame. I attached the frame to the base of the card using mounting tape and arranged the flower and foliage attaching with glossy accents. I like how this turned out. It is much prettier in person than the photo shows. My blog: http://kittiekraft.typepad.com/kittiekraft/

I understand what you mean about waiting for something to dry, with that idea goin on it had to be tough....I would have been waving things all over, as well as the heat gun LOL. Your efforts and 'steppin' outta your wheelhouse turned out just absolutely, drop dead, beautiful.

Kittie, after reading the details, I feel as if I've been to the Card Olympics.....and it was almost as exciting too! What wonder you create in paper dear friend. I love every gorgeous inch.

Amazing as usual - I knew it had to be yours before I ever scrolled to see who posted it. I must have just missed it when I took a look at your blog earlier. This is truly gorgeous, Kittie. Thanks for continuing to inspire the rest of us!
