This is my card for HYCCT1220, Create a card with something that can be found UP in the air! I REALLY wanted to do an angel, but I think that might be against the rules, so I chose butterflies instead.
The card base was stamped with flourish and text stamps with VersaMark Dazzle Champagne. I thought this would work a little better with the background on the dsp. I die cut a strip from green dsp and place one side of the negative. I layered the pink paper on top of that and added the actual die cut strip. The butterfly piece was cut from dsp, distressed and sponged. Of course, the butterflies are highlighted with Gelly Roll Stardust Pens, because it seems lately I can't make a card without them. The panel is popped on mounting tape.
This card really is prettier IRL than it shows in the photo -

I reckon an angel would have been alright, myself, but I am so glad you went with this because I think it's amazing - straight into my favourites. It looks like batik or some sort of fabric.

Would have loved to have seen the angel card if it were anything as gorgeous as THIS!! WOW!! Love the colors, the big, beautiful butterflies, the dies, the glitteriness (that I'm trusting is there because those Stardust pens ROCK!). Stunning card!
