Liked that last anniversary card tonight that I decided to check out the HYCCT challenges that I hadn't had time for this week to see if that card might work with any of them. Of course, since the anniversary card was already spoken for -- well, I just HAD to make another card!
Bridget challenged us to be inspired by Emily Dickenson's quote:
Hope is the thing with feathers
that perches in the soul
and sings the tune without the words
Feathers, of course, make me think of birds. As I was looking through my stamps for an appropriate sentiment, I thought this one from Taylored Expressions fit the bill perfectly as it talks about "the song in your heart" and it reminds us of how important our friends are when things are tough. They give us the support we need to believe that we'll get through our current challenges.

Debbie, utterly adorable - I love these sweet, whimsical birdies paired with such a meaningful sentiment - you obviously put a lot of thought and care into the making of this card, it's perfect for HYCCT and this challenge! I'm glad you got to play along in "Hope is the Thing", thanks very much!
