Made for the Hope You Can Cling To 2012 Challenge - A Walk In The Woods
I was inspired by Lydias first photo in her post, and the fact that the Jacaranda Trees are in full bloom in the Southern Hemisphere where I live. And surely there is no secret as to Lydias favoutire colour, so this is also a tribute to Lydia and to say thanks for once again putting together a fabulous card drive for 2012.

Great 3 dimensional feel to your card! When I think of a walk in the woods I think of oaks and pines and you have Jacaranda trees! Would you be surprised to hear I've never heard of a Jacaranda tree?? Nice card!

Your tree images are exactly how I fell in love with your gallery, so I am so happy to see this today - it's gorgeous!!! The pops of yellow are so perfect for your blue-violet tree!

I grew up on the East Coast of the US so it wasn't until I moved to California that I saw my first Jacaranda. It took my breath away. Even now, many years later, I still have to stop to get a long look at these beautiful trees. You really captured the colorful beauty in this scene.

Like Lynn, I've never heard of a Jacaranda tree, but if this is what they look like, I'm really missing some beauty. The colors on your card are stunning. I would like to sit down next to you and watch you do this. My sponging never looks like that! TFS.
