This is for color challenge 397, Very Vanilla, Chocolate Chip and Pumpkin Pie. Which sounds delicious, doesn't it? But really it boils down to an orange and brown card, so while I did use all three of the challenge colors (yes, I really did - the Pumpkin Pie is that skinny edging layer on the flower image), I also used several Prismacolor pencils - in two oranges plus brown and cream (my neutrals!). Dessert was to create a fall or autumn card (for which these colors are perfect), but I didn't want to spend hours on a card that I wouldn't use, so mine is a birthday card. Thanks for looking!

, I was coming to your gallery to see if you'd done anything with your CAC stamps yet, Rachel. I'll just have to come back again, but in the meantime I get to see this autumnal beauty. The shading on the leaves is fabulous; the simple colour scheme and style of images remind me a lot of Japanese art.

No, the border and the embossed piece are separate bits. It's actually glued with the embossed piece slightly overlapping, so there would be no show through of the card front.
Thanks!
