 | | This is my submission for HYCCT1215A, to create a card that evokes peace, calm, and serenity, with a touch (or splash!) of pink.
I definitely met the pink part of the challenge! I think the dp with the bird images in the background, with just a touch of green, is calming in itself.
This was a super easy card, except for using only the word "Hope" in the stamp. There is a bible verse on the stamp that I had to mask before inking up with VersaMark. After adding the embossing powder, I found stray words all over the place!Took three tries, but I'm happy with the result.
The layers were created with SB A2 Matting Basics A & B, the focal Panel is popped up with a cut-to-match foam piece. |
