Thank you Lynn for this HYCCT 'pink-ing edge' challenge today - it made me get out a long forgotten Spellbinders Pierceabilities set - and look! it's even a pinked edge!
So - first you run it through your die cutting machine and it cuts the bottom edge off - then you put it through again embossing it and the Fleur de lis pattern shows up - then you pierce through the holes on the die to finish it off! And doesn't it give a pretty edge?!
I layered a strip of white card stock behind it to accent the cut edge and to cover all the pierced holes showing through on the inside!
I didn't want to take away too much from the beauty of the edge - so I just stamped this lovely Helen Keller quote on white and die cut it with a Half and Half Die from PTI (another pretty edge!) stamped the 3 hearts and adhered it in the center of the card.
I bet the patients at Anderson Cancer center understand much more than we do - how true this sentiment is.

love your paper piercing, embossing, and lovely border- such a treat to see! Reminds me of a vintage little girls' dress with its lovely details at the (hem) edge
