My first challenge entry! And one of the first cards I've made in a long time...
The leaf stamp is from Inkadinkado's Fall Season set. I stamped it with Color Box ink in Chestnut, and then, for a little sparkle and more depth, I used my water brush and painted the edge with Twinkling H2Os in burnt umber.
For the text I used a Hampton Art Studio G alphabet set and used the same leaf stamp with my Versamark pad for the background - I LOVE that effect!
I didn't have any cardstock that was the right shade of brown, so I used a piece of acrylic paper and the DTP technique with my Color Box Cat Eye inks in Brown and Chestnut. I tried stamping with Versamark on that piece too, but the effect was much more subtle, so I"m not sure it's really visible in the photo...
I had SO much fun with this simple little card!

Welcome to the Color Challenge! I find so much inspiration here every week, just looking at how others approach the "assignment".
Hope this sweet card is the first of many more...
