I also missed our sweet queen for the day Shirley, or wannabcre8tive. Another sweet lady and with such a great gallery, a perfect queen...:0). So I wnated to case a card from her gallery. I saw this one, a case of a case...http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...p;thumbsonly=0.
I liked the idea of the fence on the bottom and a great place to put the little sentiment for Angelique. I just used some dp instead of all sky like she did. I still am having troubles using dps...lol. I didnt hae a leafy one so I found a apple colored type one to match the apple, and keep in the fall colors.
I found this cute little bat picture on google drawn by ..." Lauren Wilson "...I drew it off of google and water colored it with this new type of water color pen. Different to use. you just add water in the bottom and its a brush on top. then I tried to kind of sponge the bg like shirley and added too a little bat friend in the bg, and thought I would make like he was kind of still in the apple tree, so added a few....lol....well thats what it was supposed to be...kind of got leaf crazy..lol. so its not quite what I was thinking of with this little bat pic. but its ok.

Oh Wendy, what a darling case of Shirley's Halloween card - you are so talented to be able to draw like that!! I love how you added the leaves - it adds to the charm!! Hugs!

Your apple bat is so cute. I love the falling leaves and the fence. Awesome colors. Thanks so much for casing my card and helping me celebrate my special day.
