 | | Today's first challenge was to create a peaceful scene with a splash of pink. I thought about the ocean. Having lived most of my adult life on the East Coast of VA, and now living in the Mid West, I have to say that even though people have told me that the fields of corn waving in the breeze sounds like the ocean, I still miss those days at the beach! I wanted to use today's technique challenge technique, but couldn't get the hang of it so I went back to my comfort zone with a sponge. I sponged my bg with a touch of pink then stamped my lighthouse. I added an accent of twine with a star brad and found the buttons in my stash so I carved the backs off and glued them on. |
