This is my card for Victoria's "strip please" HYCCT1204 challenge. She wants us to use strips to anchor the focal image of our card.
My 5 bg strips are done in with SU blushing bride dsp.
My focal image is from the SU "fresh vintage" stamp set. I used blushing bride and pear pizzazz markers to color the flowers. Mounted this on some early espresso cardstock.
I added some blushing bride ribbon to this layer. To complete my card I cut a flag pennant and used a sentiment from the SU "kind and caring thoughts" set.
On the inside of the card I stamped the rest of the sentiment----"you're many things but most of all you're loved".

Not only is this so very pretty, your sentiment is the sweetest ever!!! How touching!!! Love that pale pink (blushing bride) you used, especially with the olive green (perfect pear). Beautiful in ALL the right ways!!!

Mary, this SO pretty! I like the way you offset the image on the layer behind and used the bow there. Adds an element of interest I hope I remember to use!
