My tools are Velcro blocks from Ranger and some wooden blocks with Velcro attached to hold the felt and for this project I just used felt from the dollar store. I applied the ground area first using Pitch Black, covered the ground area with the plastic bag then added the sun using a circle of felt on a square block and only applying ink to half the circle and doing a twisting motion for applying the ink. The sky is then added and I applied the colors in strips then blended them together using yellow over the top.

The haunted house and witch are then stamped on using StazOn ink and I touched up a couple areas with a black Sharpie marker which didn’t stamp solid.

TIP: You would never know it now but I stamped a larger haunted house image and when it didn’t stamp a complete image (which is often the case when stamping on alcohol inks) I stamped again and must have moved the positioner because it didn’t stamp directly over the first stamping. At this point I said “I’m going to eat dinner and will worry about it later”. Came back and used the blending solution and a cotton swap and removed the StazOn stamped image, touched up the sun and sky and saved the panel. I love it when I can save a project from going in the trash can.

The tree is cut with a QuicKutz die, stamped with a wood grain image using VersaMark clear ink and heat embossed with black powder, It’s attached to the panel with both tape and Aleene’s tacky glue.

The black border is also heat embossed with a spider web image.

The Perfect Layers tools from Perfect Paper Crafting was used to cut the borders. Use any brand craft knife or rotary cutter for cutting. A tutorial video can be found on the company site.
