Shirley (wannabecreative) was selected as QFTD this week. I'm so glad I got to play as she has a folder devoted just to "Da Man"! I've stamped Da Man on so many different types of paper, but I decided to use this one as he's stamped on two-toned dp which I thought was neat b/c it looks like clouds and a sunset.
I coordinated the dp with navy and more mustard and Autumn Spice dp for the main panel. Distressed the horizontal strip, used my rope border punch, added a silver hat I had in my stash, some popped up stars I punched to which I added some silver dots and paper pierced the first panel.
But, now to the real story behind this. I have this dimensional sticker that says "Cowboy X" wanted! Hmmm...that leaves a lot for the imagination, doesn't it. I know a lot of SCS's have had occasion to spend time with Cowboy X, so thought I would finally expose him. Now, he also seems to be a "Peeping Cowboy X" cuz it appears he's looking through my window. I guess cuz he knows I can't say "no" to him. For all you "Da Man" fans out there, he's at my place if you'd like to take a "peek". But, come quickly as he gets around fast!
Always fun to work with Da Man and I enjoyed making this card. Shirley, I went with a blue and yellow theme with isn't as rustic as yours, but I hope you like it. This is the card I cased:
P.S. I SINCERELY apologize Shirley as I didn't realize this was a RAK from Cindy. I hope you will still appreciate it as who can't appreciate Da Man. Embarrassed in Virginia.
I have to go now and spend some time with zee man b/f he travels on to new pastures. Although, I do have a punchie buddy who might get Da Man in her mailbox soon for her b-day. Just make sure to share him.

Wow - this is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! I cannot believe how handsome da man looks as he slowly peeks at you through the window LOL!!! The paper you used is soooo perfect - it really does look like he's standing outside. And I think your photo came out great with the new Lightbox. Did you end up using a Flash? Or did you move the lamps around to the front? I can almost see you in the silver brads LOL!!!!!!!!Whatever you did it looks great!!

Oh, Pamzie, I have been adoring this wonderful card. I love the colors you chose, awesome. It is okay you case Cindy's card, it is one I really love and I love yours, too. Well, I see my 2 timin', x-rated man is hanging his hat and drawers at your house tonight. He'll be back here tomorrow wanting me to cook him up some grub. Well, after seeing him looking in your windows drooling over the panes, he might just get grub worms for his dinner. That means by the evening meal tomorrow, he will be back on your door step looking for some good cookin' and probably some lovin', too. LOL We gals are a little silly when it comes to "da man".
Thanks, so much for casing a card in my gallery for my special day. And double thanks for coloring up "da man". I love it.

Oh, Pamzi, just a bit of a slip up, casing a RAK, but ya know it ain't gonna bother sweet Shirt - she loves her MAN (and as often as she can too!)
Love your western look, the "rope" border punch, your rootin' tootin' stars, the cowboy hat brad, just not sure about the Cowboy X moniker on the sticker - he's a proper gentleman - always respectful of his woman (whichever one he is with that night anyhow!)
Awesome card, there, Pamzi, good to see you here in the galleries again!

How did I know you would case a cowboy card? I thought Da Man was hidden away in your closet now that hubby isn't on the high seas, anymore. So he's a peeker...watch out!!!
Seriously, fine job and glad you got to drag out 'Da Man' and make a card again. It looks Mighty Fine.

Yeee Haw will you lookie here. "Da Man" is in the house (well really outside the house according to your card....lol) This is one fine Cowboy card. Love that he is in the window. Looks like he is working out at the ranch and your looking at him through the window. I busted up when I read you cased a RAK. That is most definitely something I would do too. But hey-it's a great card and I know I appreciated looking at it. Great punch count too!

What a hoot! Y'all are way too funny! The man looks great even uncolored, Pam. But I have one question here: Is he Cowboy X cuz he doesn't know how to sign his own name? Oops! Well, even if that is so, he looks great as ever and you did him justice with this wonderful tribute! Love the stars, piercing and that sweet cowboy hat!
