In today's HYCCT challenge, Theresa asked us to simply make a card that FEATURES TEXT in some way. I have test in the pink background DP and the third panel.
This card is a case of this week's feature stamper, Cheryl aka Elizgmom. Cheryl has a fantastic gallery filled with adorable images (which were so tempting to case!!!) and also some very beautiful cards, such as this one: B is for .... by elizgmom at Splitcoaststampers
I turned the card, and changed the sentiment. The layout is pretty much the same. I also used a die, crocheted flower and butterfly. Instead of a button and twine, I used a gem brad and two gems.
Cheryl has such beautful sewing on many of her cards. I can't sew a straight line without killing the machine (why does it make that huge knot underneath by the bobbin?) and scaring my dogs. LOL
Thanks for a delightful challenge and Cheryl, your gallery is a treat!!! Thank you for taking a peek too!

Kathleen, this is beautiful. Love your choice of dps and love that butterfly. I especially love the music sheet and sponging on the butterfly and your doily behind it. Beautiful card.

Beautiful, Kathleen! The colors on your butterfly just glow. Wonderful dp. Ahhh...the sewing machine. I used to sew quite a bit, but not so much now. Sounds like the tension may need adjusting.

Ooooo, such a pretty, pretty mix of patterned papers and matched perfectly with your inked butterfly. Gorgeous all over!
Thanks for participating in my HYCCT challenge, I really appreciate the effort, and so will many others who will be touched by your gift of cardmaking for this cause.

Hee, Hee!! Those darned sewing machines--you would think there was some little creature living under that plate and chewing on your bobbin thread))) I'm sure the dogs nerves are better for the faux stitching you do!! Your blushing butterfly is gorgeous. Love the music print on her and all the lovely papers and pretties that adorn your design, Kathleen.
