This is for HYCCT Challenge 1208, to use elements of the card that began with HYCCT. Mine are:
H - hill, "hi!"
Y - yellow
C - cat
C - clouds
T - tree
After going about six different ways thinking "I could do this...No! I could do THIS..." I finally settled down and pretty much CASE'd one of the cards I made for DTGD12.
I hand cut the tree and the hills; the clouds that aren't sponged were cut from patterned paper; the grass is the negative of the die cut I used on the original card. The flowers and stems and leaves are MS punches and there is one stamp (the cat) and one die cut - I'm not counting the tiny butterfly because he was a leftover.
Kitty was stamped on yellow-orange CS and heat embossed. I added some more orange to him with colored pencils and DI Tea Dye. Shaped the flowers a little, layered and added stickles to the center. The tree "leaves' were embossed and sponged a bit. I also sponged the grass and hills to change the color a bit. I didn't like the stark blue sky so I sponged in some clouds with white. I used a grass stamp and VersaMark to add interest to the hills, stamped the "hi!", diecut and sponged it, and added the butterfly. Done! (Like it didn't take me forever because I'm S-L-O-W!!!)

I think this is absolutely adorable! I love the bold colors you used, and all the details that make up your scene. So many layers and so much dimension - so, so fun. Thanks so much for supporting Hope You Can Cling To!

Super cute! You made it look so easy. This challenge was the very last one I did, that's how hard it was for me. This is sure to bring a smile to someone. TFS.
