Word Bubble Card

Today's HYCCT challenge is called ship shape and challenged us to make a shaped card (but not a circle, square or rectangle!) I remembered some cards I picked up last year in post-Halloween clearance that were word-bubble shaped (I laid it on the envelope for the picture). I had tried to make a humorous card yesterday, but I only got as far as putting the wrong animal noises with the animals (I know-not funny, but I'm seriously humor challenged). I cut an oval around these and computer generated a sentiment, tore it and added it to my word card.

That is funny with the animal talk all mixed up! A nice shaped card too. It was hard for me to make a humorous card also. Just not my style. Back in the day when I purchased cards, I rarely bought/sent humorous cards either. Cute is nice, but I prefer sentimental.

That is sweet, Gail. I think it would have worked for the humour challenge (a toughie for me too, that one), but I'm glad that you easily recycled it into such a cute shaped card.
