During the WCMD bloghop, I stumbled onto a link to a new challenge; the Stamp ‘N Send Challenge on Splitcoaststampers. I love this challenge because it fit right in with my Operation Write Home work. Here is my submission for this week.
I donÂ’t think I have ever attempted a Deconstructing Jen sketch, so this was a lot of fun and I love how it turned out.The papers are from DCWV and MME with lots of stitching on the panels. The focal panel was made from manila paper using a resist technique with an Inkadinkado stamp. I embossed the image with clear embossing powder then used Adirondack alcohol inks and Perfect pearls. Once colored, I wiped the image with a clean cloth. The flowers are from Inspired by Stamping and were colored with DI. The Peace stamp, from Rubber Stamp Tapestry, was heat embossed with Red Inkadinkado embossing powder. Oh, I almost forgot! The larger panel under the focal one was embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder.
This is an AnyHero card that will be sent to a deployed military person, through Operation Write Home, to send Christmas wishes and thank him/her for protecting our great nation!
