After looking back at the actual challenge description, I realized this card didn't exactly meet that. But I am submitting it anyway because I love how it turned out.
I "borrowed" this paper from a friend with every intention of using it for a birthday card. Hmmm - didn't happen. Then I was going to use it for a friend's son who was going to Brazil for missionary work...
This card was super easy put together once I decided what I wanted to do. The top layer of DP was lightly distressed and adhered to a pink layer which had been cut with a deckled die. This layer was mounted on top of a duplicate layer with foam tape, except for the deckled edge. The sentiment was cut with Sizzix alphabet die Mac 'n' Cheese. All the pink cardstock was sponged with DI in Frayed Burlap.

It's just lovely and you focussed on words so that was the main thing! I love the paper and colour combo and the hope focus is just what will make someone's day, well done and thanks for playing along with my challenge!!
