These are made with envelopes stuffed with cardstock to make them look like real letters. The envelopes are stamped and distressed using direct to paper technique. Cut a hole in the envelopes at different angles. Line the holes up as you randomly stack the envelopes. This leaves an opening when you lift the top envelope. Line the opening with paper covered tag board to give a finished appearence. Decorate the stack of envelopes to look like a stack of love letter tied together.

I think this is a really cool idea....and tried to show my husband how it works and how cool it is. He's SUCH A DORK!!! His response was "so basically you want a bunch of junk mail sitting on your desk with a dead flower on it so you can put stuff inside the junk mail??" Um, HELLO!! It's a pretty little box!!! MEN! THey just don't get the good stuff!
