 | | For today's HYCCT challenge we were asked to use the letters H, Y,C,C and T to make a card by our hostess, LMcAree (aka Lori). This was more difficult than I thought it would be, so I hope you are aren't too strict! : )
H- Happy, happy I finished my card and Hard. Hard to think of words with the letter H!
Y-yellow, there is a bit of yellow, one of the stripes in the background (whew)!
C-Color, I love Color!!!
C-Cuts, fussy and die cuts
T-Tiger lily
Well a rough start, but a strong finish Lol.
This is also for the try a new technique challenge. Joan asked us to use dimension in our cards today. There are three levels, the card base, background and sentiment are the first, the die cuts are the second and the flower is the top level.
The sentiment is a vellum sticker that reads: JOURNEY Friends, they make all the difference in how well one travels through life's journey.
