I used a few different ideas for adding dimension--light and dark stamping, a woodgrain impression plate and popping up the sentiment panel with foam tape. I saw a beautiful card in the current Paper Crafts Holiday Cards magazine, by Meredith MacRitchie, which was the idea behind this design. There are so many pretty cards and tags in this addition and it's well worth the money for inspiring you for your holiday projects. The vintage cream panel was stamped with the pine boughs, in olive, flowers in riding hood red and I daubered around the edges with crumb cake. Then I used the PTI woodgrain impression plate before attaching it to the crumb cake card base. The sentiment was stamped with early espresso, diecut with Nestabilities curved rectangles, daubered and popped up with foam tape. I added some pure poppy twill ribbon to finish.
