 | | I LOVE this challenge from Kathy and I *almost* did a lion. But I started thinking about all the forms courage takes, and I decided to focus on something I see a lot. A lot of people who are new to the site or to our challenges say "I'm afraid to upload my card - I'm not as good as the people I see." To which I say - yes you are - maybe you're even better! But maybe a person new to stamping is where their favorite stamper was a year ago. Or maybe what they think is too different or quirky a style is the thing that people most love about their cards!
So I encourage everyone to be courageous about their art. Sharing makes you a BETTER artist, 100% of the time. To illustrate, I stamped my sweet little MFT girl at an angle, didn't stamp her in black, mixed white and vanilla, and broke every "rule" I could think of. She's still cute. And no one will arrest me.
Be brave. Share. I want to see :)
I used this week's Touch Twin challenge too - to use fall as a theme and make a monochromatic card - I made her all pumpkiny and combined it with dark grey to give that yummy October feel.
TFL and I hope you can come play with us! |
