I was so happy to see Vicki picked as featured stamper and I actually wanted to case several of her cards besides this one.
I LOVED this card and I knew right away this was the card I would choose to case first. I started it and then my husband went into the hospital with a bowel obstruction and I was there all week with him until yesterday afternoon when he came home. (He is doing very well.)I finally got the chance to finish this today. I have had a REALLY difficult time photographing it. I used my photo light box and also outside and I finally got this one which looks most like the finished card. It also appears a bit blurry but it is the only one that really captures the gold right!

WOW! Peggy this absolutely beautiful!!! I am in love with this gorgeous blossom.... I am so glad that ur husband is better and I really hope that he continues to improve each and every day. I know this was an absolutely scary time for you. Knowing all this and that you still wanted to do a card makes it that much more special. I really appreciate you and that you wanted to be a special part of my time . Means so much to me...

Peggy - this took my breath away!! This truly is gold done right - and I'm amazed at the photography because the gold looks amazing. I struggle with photographing glitter and gold/silvers because they just show up as dots or dark spots, and I've considered a photo light box setup but the ones I saw were quite expensive... Not sure which photo you used here but your card looks fantastic! Makes me want to use more gold.
Glad your hubby is doing better - my Mom had something similar and she was also in the hospital for several days. It's not fun!!
Hugs.
