YOUR EYES ARE OKAY! My pic is blurry and crooked! My pic disk is still not communicating w/my new monitor and won't be fixed til next week. Scanners do not take decent photos of anything that is not flat. Because this card has a bulky flower, I had to try several times to "press" the card down onto the screen, hoping to get a fairly decent pic. This one is the best of five.
This card is for today's F4A137 challenge and also a tribute to our new QFTD133. CONGRATS QUEEN DENISE! I based this Halloween card on Denise's card found here:
I got the idea for the chevron trim from the photo corners and the flower from the peace symbol. Since I used the chevron for the bottom border, I placed the sentiment elsewhere.
My rosette is "altered!" Hee! Five times I tried to make a rosette and five times I failed. No kidding! Even with Scor-Tape, it kept coming apart or the pleats/sections kept getting all mis-shaped when I pressed it down to flatten it. Finally I got frustrated, took it apart and pleated the folded cardstock around the circle I had cut to mount the rosette on. Hence, my altered rosette. It kinda looks like a rosette, right?
THANKS FOR LOOKING!
Stamp: Sizzix
Paper: Michael's Valu-Pack cream card base, Paper Studio kraft, SU dp, ? dp, Walmart black cardstock
Ink: Ranger di, Memories
Accessories: MFT die, PTI die + button, Annie's twine
Techniques: pad to paper distressing, die cutting, flower pleating/rosette
CHEVRON BORDER: I cut the chevron out of the orange dp, trimmed it straight across the top. Backed it with the b+w polka dot dp and trimmed the points. Added a strip of kraft cardstock on inside back of card for contrast and to make a nice backdrop for the decorative border.

Uh Oh....I'm sorry you blurred. For some reason, my photo thumbnail on today's card is blurred but not the photo.
I really like your chevron and I love polka dots. Yes, that does look like a rosette. I know your card is great irl.
