I knew right away what I wanted to do for Victoria's HYCCT challenge today. First I had to remind myself how to do it. Then I had to pick out coordinating colors. Choosing colors is probably the MOST difficult thing for me to do. I made two other quilts before settling on this one. I kept trying to mix pinks and green, but got some garish results! I'll use them anyway, but wanted something nicer for HYCCT.
Except for piecing the quilt "strips," I kept this card fairly simple as I didn't want to cover up the design.

I love the colors you decided to use I remember many years ago when I was in high school, pink and burgundy were "in colors". Your red with the polka dots almost looks like ribbon. TFS
