I know, you were expecting something else from the title, but I couldn't resist Today's Hope You Can Cling To Challenge has us using strips and the Ways To Use It is to use odd numbers of things on your cards. I took my strip stash and a base piece of cs and started gluing strips down randomly. I then used the Top Note die to cut out the shape and embossed it in the Square Lattice ef. I then added some marker on the sides and to accent the "stitches." I took a MS leaf and sponged on some Mustard, Cajun and Red and adhered it to my die cut. I added 3 buttons with burlap string. I stamped the Canvas bg onto my base with Crumb Cake then sponged Soft Suede onto the edges.
In all seriousness though, I'm sure willing to strip for my annual mammograms and all the more since my mom was diagnosed 1 1/2 years ago with breast cancer!

Very interest technique with the strips and then cutting them out with the Top Note Die. I am putting this one in my favs. Love the large leaf and buttons too.

Gail, that is gorgeous. I always love to see your embedded embossing cards, and this is just as beautiful. I wish I could mix and match buttons and have them look that good!

Such beautiful textured strips in these wonderful autumn colors make the prefect background for your fall leaf! Love the button embellishments! Sensational work, Gail!
