Colors of Autumn

Photo Details

Poster: mother's daughter

This card is based on a photo that was used in the CAS challenge from September 17th. I kept forgetting to get a photograph of it.

The leaf is from a set by Hero Arts, it was stamped several times with Versa Mark and then colored with Pebbles I.Kan.Dee pearlescent chalks. This was then sprayed with an art fixative so the chalk wouldn't smear off. Once dry they leaves were fussy cut.
The hardest part of this was getting an arrangement that looked nice and showed a lot of the colors. The blue bg piece was embossed to look like water hopefully.
I used diamond stickles to apply the dew drops, giving them a little extra zing!

I love this. The colors and gentle leaf curves are so soothing, yet very interesting. I'll bet, with the pearlescent ink and bling, it really sparkles. Congrats on the CAS favorite award; you certainly deserve it.
