I am so thrilled to be a guest designer for this month's color challenges. Thank you to Mary for inviting me!! I decided to do a fall themed card even though the colors sound really nice for summer too. I actually made two cards. My first card was on very vanilla cs as my base and it was BLAH! Didn't like it, so did it over and used Pool Party as my card base. Liked it MUCH better. I used the MS border punch on both of my mats and I think they blended very well. Wrapped some pool party baker's twine around my dp to give that a little boost. Also popped up the image to give it some depth. This card reminds me of that limbo time when it's still summer but fall is in the air. TFL!

You're right, Mary, that card perfectly says "Still summer, but there's a nip of fall in the air." Love the colors of the leaves, and I agree - the Pool Party base jazzes the whole thing up. Beautiful!
