I decided to try the Papertrey reflection challenge, using my new sentiment set--love the words design! Peace was inked with daffodil and calypso coral, stamped, inked again and stamped on acetate, then put the inked side of the acetate, against the paper below the stamped word. I'm sure that's clear as mud!! LOL! The other part of the sentiment was inked with cool caribbean. Stamped the snowflakes with versamark, embossed with clear ep and used a sponge dauber to highlight them. The panel is popped up with foam tape on a white card base.

What a cool way to do the sentiment and I love your snowflakes popping out with the blue.

The "reflections," two-tone sentiment concept is a great idea and I love your snowflakes! I was going to give that "reflections" technique a try! Betsy made it look so easy and though she seemed to use a modest amount of ink on her acetate, her reflective images turned out so clean. Hmmm. I hope she was right in her comment that practice makes perfect cause I have a feeling I'll be doing a lot of practicing before I'm brave enough to try on a "real" card! Hee!

Boy your description sounds like this card was tons of work. But if it was, it was worth it! It's so soft and pretty. Faving it.
