stampinupconsultan gave us an excellent tutorial on creating a woven background. Unfortunately, I do not have any adhesive sheets in my crafting supplies(I can see that I am "under supplied".) My time is limited today.........so I just made a woven feature using glue and computer paper as backing. My leaf is also the focal point rather than a "background". So the challenge police might kick it out of the gallery. : )

I'm looking at this and saying WOW!! Ah heck, forget the challenge police, this is beautiful and great as the main focus, Sallie! You still did the weaving!

This totally fits the challenge, Sallie - this is a fantastic weave!! Graphic and soft at the same time. LOVE your color combination. Would never, ever have thought to use rust and raspberry together but you made it looks gorgeous. Thanks for the inspiration! Coordinates with your avatar, too.

I would say that kicking this card out of the gallery by the challenge police is rather remote..in fact nil! This is fabulous and what a great idea to substitute supplies..it's all about creating! I love the gorgeous colours and with such a simple design it really stands out!
