This card is based upon a quilt pattern called
"Card Trick". The pieces are squares cut to 1.5 inches and arranged per the quilt pattern. The easiest way I found to arrange the pieces was to run them through the Xyron machine so they would stay straight as I worked to interweave the squares.
Most of the papers are from the Mirabelle collection by Paper Studio, with the background being a piece of kraft on which I stamped directly.
I love the verse: "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love Him" I Cor. 2:9
This stamp is from the ODBD Scripture Series 3 collection. The verses are so encouraging and are so useful in card-making. I don't have lots of stamps, because my initial foray into card-making was with the intention of using up my scrapbook scraps. Then, it became apparent that a little card, a prayer and a kind word mean so much. If it is your intention to bless someone with your cards, I'd recommend this collection from ODBD.
