This is my FAVORITE kind of color challenge, so thank you Beate!
I just returned from a lovely vacation in Santa Fe, NM which has the most incredible art supply store in the world. I got this amazing paper that is made from stone - it has a great texture and you can paint, watercolor, draw on it - even write on it underwater - crazy.
So after I got it, I played around with watercolor on it and I loved the results. My dad gave me a very nice set of Lukas watercolors for my birthday. Made for a fun day!.
The image I got at one of my fave stamp stores - also in Santa Fe.
The image was perfect for this challenge because I think every little girl feels like this in her costume - glamorous, sparkly, the center of attention :). I know I felt that way about my girly costumes!
TFL - and I'll see you in the Hope You Can Cling To challenge forum, right?

Lydia, I love this pop of color kind of project, too. I love commericals that use it on TV, I love to see it in magazines, etc. You couldn't have picked a better image for it. I would swear this is a Photoshop effect but I believe you cause you are so artistic and you IS special.

Beautiful card. Yes, little girls can be self-centered especially when in their pretty costumes. My 44-year old daughter still thinks it's "all about" her. LOL!
