Today's HYCCT challenge is to use music (sheet music, notes, etc.) plus something pink. I'm allergic to pink - yes, yes I am, so I loved this challenge. I loved it because it made me dig for the long-retired Musical Manuscript stamp set to use for my image.
I stamped it in Ranger Pumice Stone on a piece of Blush Blossom (about as pale as you can get) and instead of fussy-cutting the edges, I just ran the distress tool around the edges.
I found a piece of 7 Gypsies paper to layer with it, then put them both on top of a piece from the Basic Grey Little Black Dress 6x6 pad. A black layer, a piece of Confetti Cream for the base, and it's done. Oh, and SU Very Vanilla seam binding.
The sentiment says: Where words fail, music speaks.

Love that quote, Leslie, and the distress-y feel of this card. Very elegant!
