For Bev's HYCCT challenge, we are supposed to make it shiny, so I glittered it up! Lucky for me I had some Online Card Class Kick Start homework laying around and finally had an excuse to use it.
This is part of a sheet of Sookwang tape stuck to a piece of thick white card stock. You could also use strips of the tape, but I'm lazy. When you die-cut the shape, it won't go all the way through the card stock, but it does cut through the tape, which is what you want. You peel off the top protective layer of just the flower, apply ultra-fine clear glitter and burnish it into the tape, then color with Copics. Last step is to peel off the rest of the tape, apply more clear glitter and burnish. It's very shiny!
For my card today I realized the glitter piece was too long, so I cut a 3/4" out of the stem section before I layered it onto a piece of green card stock. The sentiment covers the seam/gap.
